Beautiful sterling silver reproduction of a genuine British game counter also referred to affectionately as a "Norfolk liar". These were carried in the field around the turn of the century by English gentlemen to keep a running tally of the day's bag of game. The four ratcheting dials (two on either side) are marked partridges, pheasants, hares, and rabbits.
